The Kansas City Chiefs aquired Michael Bennett from the New Orleans Saints today for an undisclosed choice in the 2007 NFL draft.

Chiefs Sign Draft Picks

The Kansas City Chiefs have signed three draft picks: defensive back Marcus Maxey, offensive guard Tre Stallings and wide receiver Jeff Webb.

Maxey, 6-0, 192, was the Chiefs' fifth-round pick. He started his senior season at right cornerback for Miami finishing the year with 37 tackles, four passes defensed and two interceptions.

Stallings, a 315-pound lineman from Mississippi, was the first of Kansas City's two picks in the sixth round. He started 48 consecutive games for the Rebels, all at tackle, but is expected to move to guard with the Chiefs.

The 6-foot-2 Webb, Kansas City's other sixth-round choice, played at San Diego State with Chiefs coach Herman Edwards' son, Marcus.

Pollard gets Inked

The Kansas City Chiefs inked second-round pick Bernard Pollard.

The 6-foot-1, 224-pound safety had 254 tackles, a sack, four interceptions and set a school record with five blocked kicks while playing at Purdue. Pollard is the fourth draft pick to sign with the Chiefs.

Ty Law Passed

Ty Law, cornerback for the Kansas City Chiefs passed his physical and officially signed a five year contract. After signing the deal Law rushed out in search of a house. A news conference with the five time Pro Bowler is set for July 25th.
